Teaching Assistant

The Supply Room is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school at a Key Stage 2 level in Reading, Berkshire. If you have a passion for sports, experience in coaching or a classroom-based setting, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the delivery of high-quality sports lessons, both within the classroom and on the field
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing engaging sports activities
- Providing one-on-one support to students during physical education sessions
- Promoting the importance of teamwork, discipline, and fair play among students
- Helping to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students to participate and thrive in sports

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English & Maths
- Previous experience in a coaching or classroom-based setting
- Strong passion for sports and the ability to engage and inspire young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team

**Contract Details**:

- Contracted Hours: 8:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate: £82 - £95 per day
- Location: Reading, Berkshire
