Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Scheduler to join their dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an organised and conscientious individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in athriving and growing team.

Main Duties
- To ensure that all works are efficiently and effectively resourced and managed from the point of receiving the order to the successful completion.
- Plan for future jobs and appointments whilst anticipating capability to meet the demands through resourcing of operatives and sub-contractors.
- Contacting customers and sub-contractors to book in works to ensure that company consistently meet contracted response times.
- Constantly monitor the appointment screens and statuses to identify potential issues before they happen, ensuring the correct decisions are made to rectify and own the issue through to resolution.
- Proactively manage operative annual leave and training requirements to ensure a consistent delivery of the service by having enough resource available.
- Supervising a small team of administrators to undertake scheduling and costing works.

Skills and knowledge
- Experience working in an Operations Centre of a Building Maintenance Contract would be desirable
- Experience of supervising a team
- Be able to self-manage and be self-motivated, prioritising work and have a desire to solve problems.
- Understand customer service and can coach and supervise a team to provide a professional service in all circumstances.
- Good geographical understanding of the Isle of Wight area, including the best routes and travel time between different locations.
