Your training will be a combination of ‘classroom’ based learning, in our award-winning Academy in Milton Keynes and days out with your colleagues/mentor(s) visiting house-building sites. We will arrange and pay for your overnight accommodation when you come to the Academy.

You’ll become a qualified Building Inspector, working with our registered builders to ensure that the new homes they are building meet the NHBC Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant legislation. **What our people say -**

‘When I joined NHBC as a trainee BI, I was really excited. It was a great opportunity for me to gain more technical knowledge and experience.

The mixture of classroom based, and mentor led inspections was a great mix. I was able to get a real feel for the role and to see first-hand what you might come across as an Inspector. It's great being out on-site learning and developing new skills. I really enjoy working with the site teams to deliver great new homes.’
