Ssow Possession Planner

As a SSOWP / Possession Planner for a large railway company, you will be responsible for the planning & creating of Safe Systems of Work plans in accordance with the type of work required to take place and in line with Network Rails expectations.

You will be expected to:

- Establish effective working knowledge of the geographical railway infrastructure, for the area of project/works.
- Maintain a good understanding and working knowledge of and plan safe systems of work.
- Assist in planning protection arrangements.
- Submission of isolation and road closure requests.
- Brief all appropriate management and construction teams on possession arrangements, planning possession/protection arrangements.
- Review and report on possession performance and utilisation.
- On publication of the Confirmed Period Possession Plan ensure details comply with the work requirements for the possession ensuring any deficiencies are corrected

Must have SSOW Planner competence in date, would prefer to also hold ES Engineering Supervisor competence to be able to work weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Knottingley, WF11 8DS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SSOW Planner competence (preferred)
