**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Ideally 5 years+ experience in graphic design in a Senior Designer role. Both agency & client experience welcome
- A point of view is essential, we are looking for someone to lead the design process rather than requiring a lot of direction. We want someone tenacious who believes in what they do& can inspire others to go along with their thinking.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering a broad range of design projects including brand campaigns, events, digital, motion graphics, print and social campaigns.
- Portfolio, or examples showcasing experience, in planning and creating intuitive digital experiences.
- Excellent typography skills, creative mind and a sharp eye
- Advanced technical skill set; including graphic design, typography, art direction, moving image, motion graphics animation
- Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Good understanding of branding; creating and developing identity through to guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meeting deadlines - able to plan, prioritise and manage varied workloads. Works well under pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders while effectively managing feedback
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in designing for responsive digital channels
- Ability to challenge the creative brief to achieve best result for internal client
- An interest in, and knowledge of, coding and design principles such as HTML/CSS; JavaScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team collaborator
- Has a solid understanding of the interplay between typography, colour, and motion, and their roles in visual communication
- Bachelor’s degree in digital design or related field would be beneficial, some form of formal training is required.
- Skills in motion graphics
- Knowledge of coding and design principles such as HTML/CSS; JavaScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team collaborator
- Has a solid understanding of the interplay between typography, colour, and motion, and their roles in visual communication

**What will your role as a Senior Digital Designer look like?**
- Create best in class design solutions that push boundaries, answer briefs and meet deadlines, from concept to reality. Drive forward design ideas to deliver against campaign objectives and measure results
- Manage brand guidelines and work with an external agency to develop and maintain a brand toolkit
- Manage print supplier relationships
- Ensure all design elements are consistent with the brand look and feel and be the guardian for the visual identity of the brand. Continually manage and evolve Health Shield’s brand identity
- Conceptualise and effectively communicate design ideas and user experience to marketing teams and other stakeholders. Gain buy-in to your work and challenge the norm when required
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams; brand, product, project managers and external support agencies. Manage multiple workstreams with competing priorities
- Stay connected to new design trends and technologies in the health and wellbeing space
- Work with internal stakeholders to create cohesive designs that reflect the Health Shield USP, cultures and goals
- Experience of working on offline print projects such as print would be advantageous.
