We’re looking for a visual designer to work on marketing design collateral for the UK Schools Marketing team, promoting a wide range of educational products and services to teachers, parents and learners. You will have a passion for marketing design and a desire to develop existing skills and experience, collaborating with marketing and design colleagues to produce engaging design work.

This role will be reporting to the Creative Design Manager

Working pattern: Hybrid with some expectation to travel at least once a week to either London or Oxford offices.

Key responsibilities:

- Produce marketing collateral (including, but not limited to, social media assets, posters, pdfs, postcards, web assets), in line with branding guidelines.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and briefs, completing them within the designated timeframe.
- Supported by the Creative Design Manager, develop an understanding of the business requirements and marketing objectives including an understanding of global brand guidelines and marketing design guidelines.
- Using assigned project management tools, manage workload and record workflow.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and design colleagues to produce the highest quality of marketing design in line with best practice.

Skills and abilities:

- Excellent visual design skills (creative flair, strong typography skills, coupled with technical competence).
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe creative suite.
- Experience of designing marketing collateral for use across a range of print and digital media.
- Good communicator, able to share ideas and feedback effectively.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn new and develop existing skills.
- Takes a keen interest in current developments in marketing design and marketing channels.
