At Rubydoobys we've taken our love of quality, fresh and vegan sweets and combined it with our passion for Eco alternative shopping to become the UK's go to brand for Eco Friendly Vegan Pick and Mix sweets We started our small family business from our shop in St.ives and we now have a Unit in Camborne to fulfill online orders from our growing ecommerce presence. We are looking for a friendly and hard working person to join our small friendly team where you will be working in a pleasant environment, spending much of the day packing Pick & Mix orders for our lovely and loyal customers

**Job description**

**Hours**
- 5.25 hours per day (Monday - Friday) and a 15 minute unpaid lunch break.
- Approximate working week will consist of 26.25 hours.
- The hours will reduce from 5 to 3 days per week for 3 to 4 months in the less busy part of the year.
- the hours are 9.30 to 3.00 however we would consider some flexibility around these times.

**Pay**
The hourly rate is £11.44

**Holiday**
Employees will be given the pro rata statutory 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).

**Free Sweets**
Employees are welcome to take home 1kg of free sweets every month. Whether you want to gift the sweets or keep them for yourself is up to you. We encourage you to try all our 70+ varieties of sweets so you know exactly what the customer is receiving.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and packing sweets and toys for dispatch or pickup accurately, on time and in accordance with instructions.
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Receive, check, identify and put stock away into its appropriate location
- Performing warehouse stock checks
- To use all equipment provided in a safe and correct manner, in accordance with Company procedures and safety rules.
- Ensure that warehouse, stock and equipment is kept clean and safe
- Some admin/paperwork will be required
- Downloading, formatting and printing postage labels and gift tags
- During the Christmas season we will provide well presented, high quality gifting items to our customers.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Numerical literacy and reading skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - the heaviest of our sweet boxes sit around 20kg which will require lifting onto counters.
- Computer literate
- Good level of English
- Keen eye for detail and mistake spotting
- Being a self-starter with a high level of energy
- Team player with strong, consistent work ethic
- Energy, enthusiasm, positive, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Quick and effective problem solver
- Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines
- Problem solving and willingness to push their ideas forward
- Understanding of the necessity to follow hygiene guidance.

We estimate the **start date to be beginning to mid july**
