Following a review of our Learning and Development strategy, we are looking for an Early Careers Advisor to join our Learning and Development team. This newly created role will work closely with leaders from across the business as well as schools, colleges, and universities to build our Early Careers and Future Talent pipeline.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Early Careers Advisor will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Early Careers strategy to ensure PD Ports has a strong, inclusive pipeline of people at the start of their career. The role will encompass work experience, apprenticeships, T Levels and Graduate programmes, taking a 360-approach from attraction and selection through to induction, onboarding and L&D initiatives across the lifecycle of early careers within the organisation.

**The five main things our Early Careers Advisor will be working on are**:

- Lead a working group to review and drive improvement of the current approach to Apprenticeships; refreshing the apprentice strategy to meet the needs of the business.
- Design and deliver a Professional Skills Development Programme (PSDP), providing wraparound development and networking for our early careers community.
- Design and deliver a Leaders toolkit and development programme that provides support and guidance to leaders of our early careers workforce.
- Introduce a STEM role model approach, providing opportunities for primary-age students to hear about future careers - design and implement development and ‘pack and go’ resources to support.
- Introduce a STEM ambassador programme that provides opportunities for our existing workforce to contextualise the curriculum through industry engagement.
