Here at P&O we continue to grow our business and brand as the go to travel supergiant and we are looking for a Customer Operations Supervisor to join us in Cairnryan.

As a Customer Operations Supervisor you will ensure that all aspects of Port Operations (Fleet and Tourist) are managed safely and in the most efficient manner. You will deliver a high level of customer service and ensure that the day to day requirements of the port are met, within budget and to a number of KPI’s

**Location: Cairnryan**

**What does it involve?**
- Maintain and develop a focus on Health & Safety throughout the Port, reviewing risks and taking action where necessary. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- To manage and develop the overall port operation on a shift basis ensuring all activities are completed to meet operational deadlines, customer service levels and by controlling costs.
- To provide leadership to operations staff in line with the P&O Leadership Behaviours for Managers. Your leadership skills will ensure a high-performance culture across your team.
- Take responsibility in emergency situations as per duties outlined in the Port Emergency Plan and Oil Spill Emergency Plan.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Managerial experience in a Customer Operations environment.
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of multi-skilled staff.
- Effective in staff training and development.
- Ability to problem solve in difficult situations.
- Able to deliver operational and service quality requirements.
- Commercially focused with a good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Sound working knowledge and understanding of IMDG code and hazardous procedures.
