**What you will be doing...**

Working within our Office at Leeds Bradford Airport, you will work towards a Level 3 Business Fire Safety Advisor Apprenticeship over 26months. As part of your role you will visit various offices and bases to help them keep them safe from fire by offering advice and education to reduce risk. A typical day in this important role will see the Business Fire Safety Advisor assessing risks and hazards associated with fire, evaluating measures in place to protect people and premises, influencing and supporting businesses to act on recommendations

What will you do in the role?
- Plan and prepare for visits to offices/bases including interpreting building information
- Conduct effective visits to simple premises
- Advise, influence and educate stakeholders on fire safety matters in relation to simple premises
- Identify fire hazards and risks in offices/bases
- Evaluate fire hazards, risks and control measures in offices/bases and report on the compliance and findings of visits
- Recommend options to support appropriate risk reduction measures, fire precautions and maintenance routines
- Record keep in line with organisational requirements

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
- GCSE Maths (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
- GCSE English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
