Our client requires a Temporary Proof Reader in Cambridge with demonstrable skills in the areas of proof reading and Quality Assurance. This is a long term temporary booking.
- Proof reading documents to ensure 100% accuracy
- Familiarity of marks for copy prep & proof correction, ensuring that proof reading marks are followed by the Typesetters
- To ensure that a high level of Quality Assurance of both confidential and non-confidential materials
- Communicating regularly with the client in relation to workload, taking into consideration any deadlines or time constraints
- Liaising with staff regarding documents and workload estimations, deadlines; including current and expected workloads
- The ability to work to ISO 9001 processes

Ideally you will have:

- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in written English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Able to manage their own time and workload effectively
- Scrupulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
