A newly funded opportunity has arisen to be part of our Speech and Language therapy team to support the planning, delivery and expansion as part of Scarborough hospitals 47 million pound new build, which is currently underway and due to be completed in 2024.
As part of the hospital expansion and commitment to the local population we have opportunities to strengthen and grow the Speech and Language therapy service.
The services currently covered by our speech and language therapy team include acute and community Dysphagia, SLT lead videofluoroscopy, complex neuro and stroke rehabilitation, critical care, voice, progressive conditions including LSVT, dementia, and mental health.
