Cafe Assistant

Tool & Gauge Kitchen is a highly popular cafe based on the Marston Trading Estate in Frome, within the Frome Business park.

With an ever growing following, our dedicated team is needing to expand to keep up the high quality of service and the exceptional experience customers expect.

**THE ROLE**:
This role requires someone that loves working as a team and yet is a leader and self starter in their own right.

From working the front of house, taking orders, making coffees, to cleaning tables, dishes and helping in the kitchen you will be part of a team that work across every section of the cafe.

If you’ve had previous experience, such as 2-3 years in a fast paced hospitality establishment this would be a real benefit, but not essential.

During your shift you must be willing to help with any area of the cafe that needs support to ensure that current clients are being looked after or that you are preparing the cafe for the next set of customers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Qualifications in food and beverage are ideal, such as food hygiene certifications but most importantly is your willingness to work as a team and ensure clients are severed fast.

**HOW TO APPLY**:
HOURS: 25-30 p/w - across different shifts
DAYS: Monday - Saturday
OPEN FOR: Breakfast, lunch, snacks, takeaways, Dinners (Friday & Saturday)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Frome: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
