An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Music Division at The Hammond. Working with high calibre students, in a specialist environment, we are looking for a dynamic and inspirational singing tutor to develop and improve the quality of vocal technique and students' understanding of good repertoire.
- To work with the Director of Music in the implementation of the vocal curriculum across the school and college
- Dynamic and inspirational teacher of singing, working 1-2-1 with School and College students
- To assist in the design and delivery of the vocal curriculum for the Diploma courses
- To develop and improve the quality of vocal technique amongst students to ensure all students meet industry standards and expectations
- To develop student understanding of repertoire
- To collaborate and share good practice within the department

**Personal Specification**
- Honours degree in singing, vocal, music or associated study, or extensive experience of vocal practice
- A recognised singing qualification
- A commitment to vocal health development
- Secure knowledge of vocal anatomy and vocal function
- Ability to recognise issues with the voice
- Industry experience (desirable)
- Accomplished pianist and sight reader (desirable)

- To support the senior leadership team in implementing the ethos and wider philosophy of the school.
- To ensure health and safety procedures and safeguards are always observed.
- To attend meetings, INSET, Open Days, and other events.
- To promote goodwill and foster good relationships with parents and other members of staff to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities.
- To be punctual, presentable, and positive
