Interim Financial Controller

Pure have been engaged by an existing client to recruit an Interim Financial Controller to be based at their head office in Orpington, Kent.
This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and is expected to last between 12 and 15 months.
Our long standing client have a nationwide presence and an incredibly strong brand. They are a people led business that offer hybrid working, with 3 days to be office based.
With an outstanding reputation in their industry and a high calibre senior leadership team, this role will be the number two in finance, managing a medium size team, which will need true leadership and mentoring.
This will be a broad role that will oversee the full finance function, delivering first class reporting and analysis that will support strategic decision making. You will need to have a strong work ethic and a passion for success.
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with relevant experience in a senior finance role
- Strong technical accounting experience with a blend of commercial acumen
- Ability to demonstrate system and processes improvements
- Experience in the retail sector would be an advantage
- The ability to communicate at all levels and be a key influencer
- Proactive, personable with an analytical and logical mindset
