**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Remove replace windscreens to vehicle manufacture specifications.
- Remove replace rear heated glass to vehicle manufacture specifications.
- Remove replace vehicle body glass to vehicle manufacture specifications.
- Remove replace panoramic roof glass to vehicle manufacture specifications.
- Remove preserve windscreen glass, to reduce costs where necessary.
- All aspects of vehicle glass removal refitment processes including safe glass handling.
- Handle glass safely to minimise risk of injury, using correct PPE provided.
- Dispose of broken glass taking proper precautions.
- Use specialist windscreen removal equipment, including air cutting tools in a safe manner.
- Move vehicles to and from site and within workshops in a safe manner observing company policies.
- Completing parts request forms, collecting parts from the Parts Dept and reporting to office.
- Report any broken, faulty, damaged equipment to management team.
- Maintain a good standard of housekeeping and ensure a good standard of workmanship in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Correct filling of company job cards and job records on a daily basis.
- Return specialist tools and reference materials to their designated locations reporting any faults found.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties as requested by Management and senior staff.

- This includes reporting all accidents and near misses to management.
- Reporting any potential issues which could cause harm.
- It is the employee's responsibility to ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- It is the employee's responsibility to ensure all waste products are correctly disposed of in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Behave in a manner, which acts in line with the standards set out in the Health and Safety Manual and Company Hand book. It is each employee’s responsibility to ensure that the environment in which they work in is safe for them and others.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Valid Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional, polite and pro-active.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate job records and reports.
- Sufficient tool kit to carry out work required.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the motor trade.

**Desirable**
- Understanding of the motor industry and motor vehicle technology.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH and Risk Assessments.
- Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions without supervision.
- Ability to work effectively with other members of staff, customers, Understanding of the retail motor industry.
