You will need to use your judgement of speed and distance to know when it is safe to stop traffic and allow pedestrians to cross the road.- The presence of a School Crossing Patrol encourages parents and children to walk to school, giving environmental and health benefits, in addition to improving safety on the site.- Duty times cover the period before school opens in the morning and the period after the school closes in the afternoon.- Good verbal communication skills are essential.- This post is term-time only.
