This post is designed to provide effective leadership and management of the college’s English provision on our Hereford and Holme Lacy campuses. Current provision in this area includes:
Functional Skills in English.
GCSE in English.

The Head of English will be an inspirational classroom practitioner with a demonstrable track record in developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others and delivering excellent achievement rates. There will be direct line management responsibilities and close working with the Head of Mathematics to ensure effective planning and liaison with Course Leaders, Curriculum Team Leaders and Assistant Principals to develop fit-for-purpose and high-quality English GCSE and English functional skill provision. This role includes a 0.5 teaching commitment.
