Trainee Health

Our Client, a well-established **Health and Safety Consultancy** based in Wolverhampton are looking for a **Trainee Health and Safety Assistant** to join their team.

This role will initially be **the main support to a highly experienced H&S Consultant** and is a genuine **opportunity to develop your career** within the field of Health and Safety and progress to a **Consultant **position.

A competitive starting salary of **£25,000 plus study support.**

**The successful Trainee Health & Safety Assistant will be required to:

- **
- Update **Method Statements** and **Risk Assessments (RAMs).**:

- Draft new client H&S policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Write and amend COSHH Assessments.
- Assist with the new client health checker to assess safety compliance.
- Set up remote client portals to give client access to safety documentation.

**The ideal Trainee Health & Safety Assistant will have:

- **
- Genuine interest in health and safety.
- Experience of working within health and safety would be preferred.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Working towards NEBOSH (preferred but not essential.)
- Good administration skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a strong rapport.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
