**ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Work with your Agile team to define ways of working and engineering strategies
- Promote testing best practices throughout the development lifecycle, always putting quality first
- Working with your team to increase levels of automation across the SDLC pipeline
- Drive and support improvements to processes, tools and automation standards
- Guide and mentor other Quality Engineers with varying automation skills
- Participate and lead planning, estimation, retrospective, stand-ups, and any other team ceremonies
- Design and write automated tests across all layers of the testing pyramid
- Carry out code reviews
- Attend and organise knowledge share sessions

**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**
- Experience with JavaScript or another object oriented programming language
- Experience with SQL and database testing
- Extensive automation experience across testing pyramid
- Effective time management and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals
- AWS, GitLab and Atlassian experience are a plus, as is working in Agile teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD principals and tools
