CAD - AutoCAD Plant 3D / PDMS / design / process plant / GA’s
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the North of England, who are specialist engineering and projects services company within chemical, pharma & process industry. They are looking for an experienced Piping Design Engineer on an initial 6-month contract, with likelihood of another 6 months thereafter.
The successful Piping Design Engineer will be required to conduct the following duties:
- Modelling piping systems and equipment layouts from P&IDs and site sketches
- Creating Fabrication ISO’s from Plant 3D
- Develop BOMs at FEED and Procurement stages
- Produce Equipment Layouts and GA’s
The successful Piping Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of process plant - chemical/Petro-chem/industrial
- Strong process engineering background
- Knowledge of ASME B31, specifically B31.3 Process Piping
- Navisworks Plant 3D desirable
- A team player, professional and keen eye for detail
