As a Customer Service Volunteer in the Wheelchair Service Team, you’ll be providing people with wheelchairs and other equipment to help them get moving again after illness or injury.

**We would like you to volunteer**:

- At least 3.5 hours per week
- Shifts available: Thursday (9.30 am
- 1 pm) and Friday evening (5.45 pm-8 pm)
- For at least 6 months
- Ideally, you will live within 10 miles of the office.

**Customer Service Volunteers**
- Give a warm welcome to customers visiting or phoning us.
- Help people wanting to hire a wheelchair or other equipment.
- Use a computer-based stock control system.
- Show people how to use the equipment.
- Take payments/ donations

**The skills you need**
- Physically able to safely lift or move wheelchairs and other mobility equipment
- Some customer service experience is desirable.
- Enjoy meeting people and having good people skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Good IT skills.
- Able to commit to a regular shift every week.
