What is the overall job?
The Labourer will support craftsman with undertaking maintenance, routine inspections, installation, fault finding, repairs, modifications and services on the full range of plant equipment, services and systems in the Peterborough City Hospital and associated buildings. Other Key responsibilities will include:

- Assist craftsman/engineers in their maintenance duties, working with mínimal supervision
- Carry out cleaning and testing to plant and equipment, carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks
- Perform regular tests as per HTM as detailed in PPM's and all relevant statutory requirements
- Use all relevant tools and equipment and undertake cleaning tasks as appropriate
- Support the Management and Technical team to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contract KPI's including contractual response times
- Provide high levels of customer service
- Ensure all Multiplex personnel and contractors comply with Health and Safety requirements whilst on site

What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Experience supporting mechanical/electrical/fabric engineers/craftsman in an assistant capacity
- Experience working in the health sector would be advantageous.
- Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a relevant property maintenance, mechanical or electrical qualification would be advantageous.
