**Job description**

An Associate Delivery Manager supports the performance of delivery by managing or working alongside delivery managers and their cross-functional teams. You will have accountability for the delivery of a product, part of a service or infrastructure. You will
- manage, allocate and track tasks performed by team members.
- support the building and maintaining of teams, often working alongside other delivery managers on larger teams or pieces of work.
- encourage and deliver continual improvement of the delivery team and team effectiveness.

A Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of change within a project team or through co-ordination with various specialist teams, as well as being accountable for the performance of those teams. You will
- build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well.
- help identify and overcome any obstacles to achieving the agreed outcomes.
- provide guidance to focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of the change.
- encourage and facilitate continuous improvement towards more effective delivery.

**Person specification**

For the HEO role, you will have experience of planning and delivering IT change and experience in a change or delivery environment. You will have experience of effective and accurate communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and practicalexperience of delivering products and services to users. You can prioritise to maintain individual or team pace and have experience of working under own initiative. Experience of successfully working in a team environment is essential.

For the SEO role, you will hold a qualification in Information Technology or a related area or have significant experience in an IT field. You will have proven experience of planning and delivering significant IT changes and have a knowledge of tools andprocesses that support IT delivery. Knowledge and an understanding of IT delivery methodologies is essential.

Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

**Qualifications**

SEO Delivery Manager only: Holds a qualification in Information Technology or a related area or significant experience in an IT field.
