Our client, a leading bakery in Northern Ireland, is seeking a **Quality Assurance Auditor** to join their team in **Dromore**.

**Pay Rate**: £11 to £11.50 per Hour + Holiday Pay

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm OR 10am to 7pm

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Position

**Job Duties**:

- Review of factory paperwork during production hours - checking packaging use is correctly coded and applied to products, paperwork completed by production is done so on time and accurately.
- Ensure all production records and technical department paperwork is correctly filed and archived
- Complete weight checks on bakery products to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Complete CCP verification checks to ensure the site metal detection & X-Ray systems are functioning
- Issue and collect paperwork to and from hygiene team for cleaning tasks.
- Complete routine Glass & Hard Plastic Audit inspection of facility and equipment to monitor compliance and identify any issues with damaged items.
- Complete allergen testing as and when required for vegan production - swabbing of equipment to positively release pre-production.
- Completion of daily Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Audit, which includes the completion of audit reports, raising of issues with production department supervisors and follow up / review. -Involved is the update of the technical scoreboard / trend analysis system.
- Completion of external perimeter GMP audit, report and communication of actions required.
- Completion of hygiene audit tasks including swabs post clean.
- Collection of samples for shelf life assessment / lab testing.
- Completion of shelf life assessments on products at the end of their life / rotation of samples.
- Completion of weekly scale verification checks to ensure accurate.
- Monitoring of calibration details for equipment e.g. scales / temperature probes / ovens / loggers etc.
- Set up and download of chill / freezer storage loggers saving / printing data.
- Completion of monthly temperature probe verification checks to ensure accurate.
- To be a point of contact for the QA department for both internal and external customers.
- Raise maintenance issues via reporting system for action where issues are noted.
- Handle and respond to queries coming into the department e.g. raw material issues and customer complaints.
- Conduct administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Data input for trackers / logs - complaints / non-conformances.
- Identify, highlight changes, and update documentation as per document control procedures to ensure compliant.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues, and visitors.
- Assist the Technical Manager with other duties as required including site visits and audits.

**Job Criteria**:

- Previous QA experience within the food industry
- Good IT knowledge, including Microsoft packages.
- Organised with good time management
- Good attention to detail
- Good Interpersonal & communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- 3rd level Qualification
- Previous QA experience within the food industry
