CNC Turner

Our client is looking for a **CNC TURNER** (Familiarity with Miyano Lathes and **FANUC Oi-TD CONTROL** is essential) to join their **DAY SHIFT**team based in Preston.
- 7:30am - 4:15pm Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 Friday
- Salary: £15ph - £18ph
- 6 Month FTC

They are a well established sub-contractor within the Aerospace Industry and are manufacturers of machined detailed parts from most types of metals, hard and soft.

**CNC Lathe Operator - Main Responsibilities**:

- Where required, programme machines in line with technical information provided
- Set up the tooling required to produce parts
- Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified
- Run product batches to technical requirements
- Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection
- Adhere to health and safety requirements
- Comply with quality and regulatory standards
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company

**CNC Lathe Operator - Skills & Experience Required**:

- Proven experience in a CNC Setter/Operator role using Miyano multi axis machine
- Experience of **FANUC Oi-TD CONTROL** is essential
- Previous Aerospace / Automotive experience would be advantageous
- Must be able to program/set and operate machines with Fanuc controls
- Health and safety environment
- Focussed with attention to detail

- Work with engineering and the quality team to improve all aspects of the manufacturing process
