Gardener/labourer

Our gardening team based in Milnthorpe and the surrounding areas is looking for a new staff member who can handle the unpredictability of gardening in a variety of settings, from cozy backyards to sprawling commercial spaces.

You must be physically fit, willing to put in hard work in all weathers and have a good sense of humour to fit into our well established team. We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of work by reliable, hard working and friendly staff.

Prior gardening experience is not mandatory, just a willingness to learn and an interest in the outdoors. We believe in maintaining a balance between hard work and fun, striving for excellence while enjoying the process. We are outdoors in all weathers with a smile on our faces

This is a part-time, flexible position. You will be contracted for a 16hours a week spread over two days. However as we head into spring and summer you will be able to work more often up to 5 days a week covering staff leave and keeping up with increasing demand.

A driving licence and acces to your own vehicle would be beneficial, if not you must be able to find your own way to Milnthorpe for 8am every morning.

Duties will include but not limited to:

- weeding, lawn cutting and general garden maintenance
- cleaning vans and upkeep of tools and machinary
- communicating with clients in a professional manner
- planting

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
