**Restaurant Manager**
A "must visit" Indian vegetarian restaurant for vegetarians and non-vegetarians based in Wembley is looking for a Manager to join their friendly, supportive and engaging management team. You will be reporting to the Operations Director.
This job is all about performance and reputation, and the stage is yours to firmly focus on sales growth, guest satisfaction whilst keeping a watchful eye on the restaurant budget and tackling daily operational challenges head on. You will be spearheading theirvision of delivering an amazing culinary experience to their guests.
They believe that great service is infectious which is why your engaging and inspiring leadership style is extremely important to them. They will also expect a commitment to developing your team, ensuring they feel confident and always fully prepared to beas helpful as possible to colleagues and guests, achieving their own work and life goals in the process. And although people will be at the top of your agenda, you should be confident with numbers and have great analytical and problem solving skills.
Their extensive and tempting menu traverses the Indian sub-continent and also includes East African Indian favourites.Their cuisine is “Saatvic” consistent with the tenets of Vaishnav, Jain & Swaminarayan dietary requirements.
**The Manager will**:

- Create a fun and positive environment within the team, passing on to them your passion and enthusiasm so they can wow their guests.
- Be creative and think outside the box. Feel free to bring your ideas to work and find new ways of developing and improving.
- Communicate and collaborate efficiently and assertively with other departments, suppliers and with your team. When working with loads of different people communication is key
- Be passionate about F&B, being present during operation to bring the very best of your experience and ensure service is running smoothly and the team is assisted if needed.

**HOURS OF WORK**
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 6 days a week.Your working hours will include weekends.
**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
**Essential requirements**:

- Ability to lead a team
- Strong financial awareness - with responsibility for financial delivery and business planning
- A good level of computer literacy and analytical skill
- Catering / Bar Management experience at assistant manager level
- Good communication skills
- Be a self-starter and able to multi-task

**Desirable requirements**:

- Back of House experience
- Intermediate Health & Safety and / or First Aid at Work

**Benefits**:

- The Restaurant Manager position offers a salary package of up to £38,000 per annum (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge and bonus)
