**Mechanical Engineering Trainer**

**£30,000 - £32,000 + 36 days holiday plus potential 1 day per month extra + Company Benefits which include 5% Pension and Life Cover**

Are you a Mechanical Engineer that's fed up of working shifts and wants to down tools and the night shifts for a stable days based role with lots of holiday and also the opportunity to inspire the next generation of Mechanical Engineers?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to strike up a great work life balance and also use your expert knowledge to teach and guide trainee Mechanical Engineers as their Tutor at this certified academy.

The company themselves deliver the highest quality engineering apprentices to companies in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Process, Manufacturing, Power, Engineering and Pharmaceutical sectors and has received numerous RoSPA and British Safety CouncilAwards and has achieved a Grade 1 'Outstanding' from OFSTED.

They are looking for someone with relevant industry experience to deliver training to their apprentices at their bespoke Cheshire centre.

Competence in Mechanical fitting, Manufacture and Assembly with proven knowledge and experience on plant and process would be a distinct advantage.

**Mandatory Experience/Qualifications**
- Relevant industrial/academic experience to a minimum of level 3 standard
- Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience within your specialist area
- A sound knowledge of industrial process operations principles
- Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Communicate effectively both orally, and in writing, with learners, employers and other professionals

- Can take ownership of problems and assignment to resolution
- Shows leadership when appropriate but is also a team player
- Clear thinking and a simple communicator
- Proven ability, maturity and confidence to deal with a diverse range of personnel
- Patient with the ability to show control in challenging situations
