Our client, a reputable nursery in Peterlee, is seeking for a Nursery Assistant. This nursery is renowned for its unwavering dedication to providing top-tier early childhood education.

Position: Nursery Assistant

Location: Peterlee

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shifts Pattern: Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 6:30pm, 40 hours a week.

**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. You will work closely with experienced educators, assisting in delivering high-quality care and age-appropriate learning experiences. Your warmth, patience, and creativity will contribute to the children's developmental milestones and ensure they have a positive start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support in implementing educational activities and play-based learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
- Contribute ideas to curriculum planning and activity preparation.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for working with young children and contributing to their growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant childcare certifications or willingness to obtain them.
