**Job role**: Apprentice Chef

**Location**: Central London

**Salary**: £25,350/ £13.00 per hour

**Shift Pattern**: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours, weekends off

**What You Really Want To Know**:

- The salary for this role is £25,350 per annum/ £13 per hour
- The basic hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week
- The working week is Monday to Friday
- Monthly wages paid on the last day of the month

**Apprentice Chef Duties**:

- Following directions provided by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Learning food preparation techniques
- Cooking and presenting meals to a high standard
- Working under pressure to ensure meals are served on time
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary
- Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback
- Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required

- Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
- Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
- Possess the ability to work under pressure

**What is an apprenticeship**:
An apprenticeship is a funded programme where an individual learns new skills, knowledge and behaviours in a chosen sector. An apprenticeship will enable you to work and earn a wage whilst developing and gaining new skills as an employee. Alongside yourday to day duties, you will complete the Chef de Partie Level 3 Apprenticeship. This is a nationally recognised qualification. You are not expected to complete any of your Apprenticeship work outside of your normal working hours and will be given set timeeach week to complete your work
