We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile utilities clients based in Warwick. They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager for an initial 12 month contract, however, with the possibility for extension.

**Overview of the role**:
The Electricity System Operator (ESO) will be at the heart of a new Future System Operator (FSO), focussed on driving net zero and delivering consumer value with a whole energy system mindset. The FSO is a transformational programme, in two parts, Transition,working with the client to separate the ESO business ready to become the FSO and Transformation setting up the new organisation, both elements will be operating in parallel and at pace to ensure that the FSO is set up for success. This role is an excitingopportunity to shape what the Future System Operator will look like.
This is a strategic leadership role and is responsible for a wide range of deliverables to establish the design and subsequent implementation of the future system operator. Responsible for the delivery of the workstream on behalf of its executive sponsor andunder the supervision of the FSO programme the role will drive the timely completion of the activities and ensure integrity and coherence with the rest of the programme.
The Contracts & TSA Workstream Lead is responsible for understanding the necessary contract treatment of existing contracts and the subsequent engagement with suppliers and execution of the contract treatment to establish contracts for the new FSO organisationon Day 1.
**Key accountabilities**:

- Review and confirm TSA requirements for relevant functions of the FSO, based on the blueprint of the previous phase
- Review the companies prepared draft TSAs (together with support of the ESO functional workstreams)
- Support TSA negotiation with the client
- Supporting the development of TSA schedules
- Identify relevant shared contracts (between ESO and the client) required for the FSO post Day 1
- Review relevant contracts (together with the client) and develop an action plan that categorizes contracts and defines necessary disposition for each contract
- Support discussions with the client regarding the agreement of the disposition of each contract
- Support new contracts set up for workstreams where a new capability has been approved
- Identify and track one time costs, and dis-synergy costs from suppliers associated with contract dispositioning.
- Deliver against operational KPI's and CPI's so that performance can be understood and sustainably improved.
- Identify improvements in process without compromising cost, service, or control.
- Actively working to understand and address procurement and supplier needs, acting on feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness where appropriate
- Manage external and internal stakeholders including but not limited to Suppliers, Legal other project team members and wider procurement teams such that expectations are managed and required outputs are delivered.

**Location**:
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Warwick office at least 1 day per week

**Working hours**:
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
