**About the Role**

Housing Services exist to provide essential support and advice to all Queen Mary students and staff on matters relating to the seeking, acquiring and occupation of residential property of all kinds.

The post holder will be supporting the team responsible for promoting, maximizing the letting potential and mitigating the financial risk in relation to the Queen Mary halls of residence of over 2,600 beds and over 750 beds from our nominated partner providers.

**About You**

The post requires excellent IT skills including MS Office packages and experience of web editing, the ability to interrogate and provide reports from database systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills, accounts experience, familiarity with budgeting and financial management, experience of working in an HEI environment and significant experience in a busy customer facing service environment.

**About the Department**

The post holder will be required to support the Head of Housing Services in delivering a customer focused service of excellence; providing advice and guidance encompassing the broad range of housing options. The range of this role is not limited to the QMUL halls of residence, but includes nominated private providers, private housing as well as homestay or short stay options.

The post is based at the Housing Hub (Mile End Campus). It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £30,642 - £37,348 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
