- Shift pattern: Rotating 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm 5 days out of 7- Having implemented SAP EWM across its core operations the role of the Operations Supervisor is pivotal in the day-to-day delivery of market leading Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics through the implementation and skilful use of the Operational Capability Framework model.-
- The role holder will have gained successful operational experience in the development of high performing teams and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies.- The role is accountable for delivering day to day operational success through the developing of robust operational capability and processes, the development of people all within a safe working environment which drives a culture of Continuous Improvement and lean thinking.**Professional qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience**
- Sound understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation & regulations
- Proven experience in harnessing diverse skill sets within a high-volume distribution/production environment
- Experience implementing recognised Continuous Improvement strategies to support a Lean methodology approach with proven capability of process improvement
- Extensive people management experience
- Proven experience of developing and motivating a large team to achieve their goals
- Excellent communication & coaching skills
- Sound understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & mainstream WMS system, ideally SAP EWM
- Sound resource planning understanding / experience and strict cost control discipline
- Proven ability to adapt and change rapidly
