Role Title: Strategy Lead
Location: London / Radbroke / Glasgow
What will you be doing
The primary purpose of this position is to collaborate with the relevant internal stakeholders across Group Technology, particularly with the Chief Technology Office to develop and articulate strategies and plans, and communicate how technology supports the broader strategy and maximises value creation.
You will use your understanding of business strategy with your affinity with technology to partner with Technology leaders to define the strategy, relevant operating model, articulating the enterprise-architecture (as required) and transformation roadmaps.
Key Accountabilities
- Have a strong track record for driving outcomes using your influence and gaining consensus from key stakeholders.
- Be experienced in the tech sector and working in financial services.
- Lead communication effectively at c-suite level by developing consistent and compelling storylines for the various stakeholder groups
- Coordinate creation of blueprints and recommendations and translate them into actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments
- Manage a portfolio of initiatives, programmes, consultancy and work packages and supporting tasks in alignment with the Group Technology strategic priorities and scorecard.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, leveraging the strengths of a diverse organisation.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Problem solving - demonstrated experience in taking a complex initiative to drive high impact for customers and employees.
- technology programmes which have required major operating structure and process redesign
- developing strategic briefing papers for diverse stakeholder groups and boards
- developing tech positioning, messaging strategic plans, and identity assets for technology
- Act proactively and independently to influence stakeholders (at all levels of the organisation) to drive broad awareness of and consistency with the technology strategy and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentations and reports - the ability to articulate complex technology content into content that can be understood by diverse stakeholder groups.
- Understanding of how systems and processes interlock to deliver best outcomes for colleagues, clients and customers.
- Strong business negotiation skills, influence, conflict resolution and political savvy.
- Resourceful and confidentially handles pressure in critical situations, ensuring at all times enabling progress towards Group Technology’s strategic direction and the needs of the businesses.
- Mentor, support and provide guidance to other Strategy and Performance management colleagues on the articulation of strategy and plans to diverse stakeholder group.
- Able to context switch with ease, balancing depth and breadth of information and content.
