**Sales Assistant**

Martin Cashmore Fencing LTD is a family owned and operated business. We have been in business for over 30 years and are excited to grow with the next generation of our customers. We are looking for a dependable individual who is customer service oriented and wants to learn and grow with the company.

**Job Duties**:

- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly manner.
- Prepare orders for delivery by following special instructions from the customer.
- Answer customer questions about products and order-related information.
- Answer customer requests for special packaging or shipping services.
- Print labels for orders and arrange delivery of orders.
- Keep records of customer interactions, shipping information, and other data necessary to ensure accuracy of customer transactions.
- Follow procedures for maintaining inventory and ensuring that customers’ needs are met throughout the day.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a sales representative or similar position in recent history.
- Familiarity with computers and software (e.g., Word, Excel) preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
- Customer service oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Farnham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
