This is a key role for PF Concept UK Operations Ltd within the Assembly Team. The Category Team Leader (CTL) focuses on their production streams to ensure each product run attains the required quality standards within specific timeframes, supporting the required process for the product and the relevant HSE requirements. Through continual assessment of their team’s productivity and workload, the CTL will ensure all orders are presented for packing with no issues. With your excellent communication skills, you will ensure your team works cohesively to ensure all orders are completed and issues and anomalies are addressed with the relevant departments in line with Company Values and Competencies. Success in this role will be primarily measured on your achievement and attainment of departmental KPIs.

**Role Responsibilities**
- To support and manage your team to ensure allocated work is duly completed in a timely manner to a high standard and all team members are productive.
- To address areas where production is inefficient, understand the cause and effect of such inefficiencies and seek solutions independently or with assistance from the Operations Manager, HR or the Planning Department.
- To assess efficiencies of the machines within your department raising any maintenance issues via the Maintenance Process, be active in identifying and confirming timelines for resolution.
- Complete all employee administration in relation to reviews during probationary periods and annual reviews.
- Report any lateness and sickness to planning department so relevant systems can be updated. Carry out any RTW interviews with team members as soon as they return to the business after any absences other than holidays.
- Attend daily production meetings on time and prepare as required.
- Provide relevant information to the Operations Manager and your colleagues during these meetings with the use of the relevant Management Reports - paying attention to no fail and reprint orders.
- Complete High5 meetings with the department as early as possible in the shift, detailing number of orders, quality issues and any other relevant information needed and report back at production meeting. Maintain your Category Noticeboard weekly to ensure all the information presented is accurate and your High5 briefing is contained on the board.
- Assist your team should any issues arise during the print process - screen, plate or ink issues - offer solution to problems as they arise.
- To manage the allocated workflow which ensures all machines are utilised effectively and production is not adversely affected. Where issues arise work closely with planning team to resolve.
- Complete all daily safety checks on all machines in your area and advise maintenance of issues and escalate issues if they are not addressed within the 24-hour SLA.
- Ensure your team wear correct uniform for their roles and observe all HSE and Company requirements whilst on their shift and address any anomalies immediately. Ensure any replacements are requested from H&S department.
- Assist in the training of all the team in your category. Complete all induction duties and ensure understanding of output, unit rules, regulations, quality and safety are provided to new team members through their induction and probationary reviews. Identifying the training needs of the team and implementing any such training requirements.
- Ensure you manage the timekeeping of you and your team to provide you with the ability to run a timely and productive shift, with clearly managed breaks.
- Efficient balancing of materials required for production, mitigating stock-outs and over-stocks.

- Work closely with Planning to ensure you raise any queries you have regarding your team’s ability to fulfil the order requirements and ensure that jobs to be carried to another shift are authorised and plans are revised accordingly.

- Attend interviews with HR for vacancies within your category area.
