**JOB DESCRIPTION: Office Facilities Assistant**

**About Amberside Energy**

Amberside Energy is an exciting renewables development and management company headquartered in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We are a dynamic firm that primarily works with solar farms and battery-based energy storage systems but with growth plans that will allow us to move into other technologies and sectors.

**Duties of the Role**
- Working as part of a team to do whatever needs to be done on a day-to-day basis to keep the business performing at a high level
- General administrative tasks
- Assisting with new starter office set up: furniture, IT hardware and software requirements, etc.
- Ensuring the office space remains a tidy and safe space in which to work
- Liaising with remote IT service desk with any issues
- Keeping track of stationery and office consumables
- Monitor office energy consumption and utilities rates and contracts (to ensure that we are an energy-efficient office and taking advantage of the best deals available)
- Good understanding of Fire and Health & Safety procedures
- Responsible for security and parking: keeping track of access fobs, office keys, allocated parking bays and ensuring visitor procedure is followed correctly
- Assisting with organising materials for events, trade shows and exhibitions.

- A-level or alternative qualification in a relevant field, e.g., Facilities Management
- Some experience in property of Facilities Management
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry.
