Horizontal Borer Operator

**The Opportunity**: We are looking for a high quality, ambitious and motivated manual Horizontal Borer setter and operator to work in our precision Machine Shop at our modern purpose-built facility on Estate Road 2, Grimsby, as part of our dynamic and growing business. Good rates of pay, £19.52 hour, excellent facilities, terms and conditions along with a generous pension are available with this full-time role. **Flexible Working**: We offer flexible working routines, 38.5 hour standard week over a 4 day compressed week, or standard 5 day week as suits the incumbent best.

**The Individual**: Must be punctual with a professional attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop with the business. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a full-time qualified machinist/tradesperson.

**The Role.** Will see the incumbent:

- Setting and operating a manual horizontal borer with DRO.
- Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.
- Working to precise tolerances.
- Requiring ability to confidently use hand measuring tools to accurately measure parts.
- Produce quality components and work to exacting standards.
- Need to be confident in working alone or as part of a team.
