Groundsperson

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Groundskeeper to join our team.

As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our golf course. This is a hands-on position that and knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and the ability to operate various tools and equipment would be advantageous. However, training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep the course maintained, clean, attractive, and safe
- Maintain fairways, tees, greens, bunkers and other areas of the course
- Irrigate greens and other areas as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform various tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Operate machinery such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and other equipment
- Repair or replace damaged structures such as fences, benches, or walkways
- Assist in the construction of new course features

Qualifications (desired):

- Previous experience in grounds keeping or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in grounds keeping
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks such as lifting heavy objects or digging
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
