**Jackson Hogg are excited to share a new Tekla Designer opportunity to be based in our client's Sunderland office.**

This position would be within a well-established and successful project engineering company specialising in the bespoke design and manufacture of complex conveyor and material processing equipment.

The Tekla Designer will be competent in the use of Tekla packages and will specialise in the drawing and design of steel structures such as gangways, railings, gantrys and pipe racks. Design for industrial environments. Producing detailed design drawingsfor manufacture through our supply chain network translated into AutoCAD.

Projects can vary from new product development, current product design updates, cost reduction and standardisation improvements. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management and Procurement teams to ensure that products meet customer needs whilstfocusing on quality, cost, and delivery

**Tekla Designer Desired Skills**
- 4 years of Tekla design software experience
- In-depth understanding of steel structures and connectors
- AutoCAD knowledge desired ( used to translate across for mechanical engineering)
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and heavy fabrication
- A University degree or equivalent in mechanical or structural engineering is desirable
