- **Equans is looking for a Civils Chargehand to join our team in Shurton, Somerset on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.**

**Impact**:
Reporting to the Hard Services Supervisor the Chargehand will be responsible for day to day work aspects of the team carrying out Civils Operatives roles

**Complexity**:

- Responsible for the safe & timely execution of tasks given by your Supervisor / Manager
- Be a point of contact for your work area and staff working under your charge.
- Carry out pre job briefs in order to allow works to be carried out safely and in line with EDF & EQUANS processes.
- Maintain storage facilities including stock levels.
- Maintain COSHH and Risk assessment files for carrying out the tasks you will manage within your team.
- Completion of walkdowns in order to plan and identify risks and operational delivery.
- Report near misses & take action to resolve.
- Promote & Maintain good work area standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, routinely auditing areas with your supervisor.
