**Assistant Food and Beverage Manager**

**Location: Bedfordshire, (SG19)**

**Salary: £21,622 - £23,987 per annum**

**The Role**:
Working in one of the UK’s largest nature conservation charity, as **Assistant Food and Beverage M**anager you will be supporting and coaching the team in everyday operations, building and maintaining strong working relationships and deputising for theF&B Manager.

**Duties**:

- Assist with the delivery of the company’s brand strategy.
- Understanding of KPIs setting targets to deliver organisational goals.
- Providing a warm welcome for visitors and being knowledgeable and confident in the duties assigned.
- Preparing and serving high quality, fresh food and drink while maintaining food hygiene, health and safety standards in the work environment, sustainably sourced, keeping the environment at heart.
- Encouraging teams, with support from colleagues across the organisation.
- Learning every day and meeting new people.

**Skills, Experience and Attributes**:

- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Understanding of working EPOS systems.
- Level 2 food safety, willing to work towards Level 3.
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of good food and drink and the importance of the natural world.
- A positive outlook, willing to develop new skills, with a genuine desire to deliver amazing experiences for the visitors.
- Can do attitude, empowering each other to be confident in being curious.
