**Job Role: Street Cleansing Driver**

**Location: Witney**

**Working hours: 40hrs per week**

A very reputable company based in Witney are looking for a Street Cleansing Driver. Your main responsibilities will be to carry out a wide range of routine street cleaning activities in various locations throughout the district/external locations in accordancewith service level agreements.

**Driver Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Undertake visual daily checks of the vehicle before it is used to ensure that the vehicle is in good working order, including checking oil, water, tyres, lights and beacons.
- To report any problems with the vehicle on the relevant paperwork and to the relevant department immediately, explaining technical problems where required.
- To undertake any required paperwork to ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation.
- To comply with all transport legislation.
- To be responsible for driving Company vehicles safely around the operational area, showing due regard for other road users and local residents.
- To be responsible for requesting / utilising other crew members as banks persons to assist in any difficult vehicle manoeuvres.
- To tip the vehicle at the appropriate waste acceptance site as directed by Line Manager, ensuring compliance with safety and transport legislation.
- To ensure vehicle is left clean and empty at the end of each working day.
- to hold a Vehicle Licence to be able to drive a range of vehicles up to and including 3.5 tonnes gross weight.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
- Provide an up-to-date CV
- At least 1 year of driving experience
