Due to an increase in Divisional workload, which is because of an exciting company-wide growth, Pavement Testing Services Ltd, are seeking a Data Processor to work out of our Preston office. The position is full time and permanent.

Pavement Testing Services Limited (PTS Ltd) were founded in 2002 and have organically expanded the portfolio of data acquisition and material testing capabilities. We are an established company with an excellent reputation in the industry. We pride ourselves on our unique combination of in-house analytical expertise and practical, in-the-field capabilities that enable us to successfully perform many different types of projects and provide practical solutions for a wide array of clients. PTS Ltd are UKAS accredited and hold ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. We are also a training provider for Level 3 Diploma NVQ in Laboratory and Associated Activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure networks are prepared for survey in an efficient and timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to report on project progress.
- QA on data to ensure client expectation, as well as our own internal high standards, are met.
- Resolve data anomalies and provide clear and concise feedback to stakeholders/sub-contractors when necessary.
- Submit all data to the end user in accordance with the project specification.
- In collaboration with the processing manager, help improve existing processing methods.
- Process various survey types in accordance with UKPMS.
- Ensure that all work and tasks carried out are done as per company guidelines to assist, in the continual development and improvement of PTS, its ISO 9001 management systems and to comply with all international standards, Health and Safety, applicable laws, regulations, protocols and guidelines.

**Qualifications/skills**:

- Working to deadlines - Essential
- Ability to use all parts of Microsoft Office - Essential
- Strong communication, verbal and written, via a variety of mediums - Essential
- Desire to get data processed first time - Essential
- Eye for detail, finding errors in large datasets, error resolution when necessary - Essential
- Self-sufficiency, working under own initiative - Essential
- Adaptability to ensure all parts of the division run smoothly - Essential
- Familiarity of various GIS packages (preferably QGIS) - Preferred
- A geography/Environmental degree - Preferred
- Knowledge of UKPMS surveys - Preferred
- Ability to maximise your workflows and productivity
- Team player is - essential
- Clean driving license - Preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- UKPMS: 1 year (preferred)
