**Hours of work**: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday

**Salary**: £35,000 Per Annum

Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruitment for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a leading modular structure design & manufacturer based in the Shrewsbury area. As a Warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for organising the warehouse, ensuring that machinery and equipment are properly managed and maintained, working alongside the Warehouse manager and supervising a team of 3 Warehouse Operatives

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the organisation of the warehouse, ensuring that assets, machinery and equipment are properly managed and maintained.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in the receipt, order and dispatch of assets to and from the warehouse as per project requirements.
- Manage the current stock management system (Rentman), ensuring that it accurately reflects stock in the warehouse at any given time, recording all assets going in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensure we have the required levels of kit and consumables stored in the warehouse, by keeping accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and ordering stock as required.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all kit in the warehouse, quality checking all returning kit to ensure that it is ready to use for the next build.
- Support the Warehouse manager in assessing the quality of the steel coming from fabricators.
- Meet regularly with the Warehouse Manager to assess and develop plans to improve warehouse efficiencies and processes.
- Responsible for the load in and loads outs from the warehouse for each project as directed by the warehouse Manager
- Regular communication with the internal team, contracted crew and suppliers to fully understand the logístical requirements of a project
- Support the Warehouse Manager in building crew schedules and training crew who are working in the Warehouse.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the warehouse, ensuring that warehouse crew uphold these standards at all times.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, ensuring it is a safe and efficient working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks of the tools and machinery used in the Warehouse, ensuring that they meet the required health and safety standards.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills to coordinate large volumes of goods in and out of the warehouse
