Marketing & Engagement Executive

We now have a great opportunity to join a growing marketing team, focused on delivering the marketing strategy and the social element of the ESG strategy. This role would suit a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit as they will be given autonomy (with the head of marketing also having other senior responsibilities in the business).

The Marketing & Engagement Executive will report into the Head of Marketing. The team has the primary responsibility to deliver brand growth, improve brand reputation in the key markets of energy, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, utilities, and heavy industry, as well as delivering leads to the sales functions as well as highlighting our employer of choice credentials in the sector. Recently, the BGEN executive team has developed a transformational ESG strategy, built on ensuring a safer, better world for the next generation.

As the Marketing & Engagement Executive, you will deliver the key social KPIs such as developing with local schools, develop charitable fundraising opportunities and supporting the communication of our mental health efforts.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to gain managerial and project managerial experience, while having exposure to some of the world’s biggest companies.

Summary Responsibilities

Act as a strong number two to the Head of Marketing delivering key brand growth strategies across social media, events, PR and partnerships. With a unique portfolio of projects, this a great opportunity to lean into different sectors.

Become the marketing focal point for the business by visiting our key sites and offices, engaging with our people and developing content opportunities.

Oversee the BGEN Marketing budget, including monthly reporting and identifying opportunities for investment optimisation.

Ensure we have a fully operational case study bank which demonstrates BGEN’s full range of capabilities.

Make regular website updates while maintaining the relationship with our provider.

Help develop and implement the social media plan through ideation, calendar management and gathering raw content.

Support the delivery of lead generation events, ensuring we have the best-in-class engaging content.

Work with all business divisions and employees in the company to identify content opportunities.

Conduct market research and analyse competitor/customer insights to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programmes and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.

Own the relationships with external & internal stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in B2B marketing, and share knowledge with the wider marketing team

Be able to mange the wider team to ensure deadlines are met, informing management in a timely manner when delays occur,

Be proficient with data manipulation and analysis.

Be comfortable within an engineering B2B environment.

Be performance motivated.

Effectively manage budgets.

Be positive and creative, bringing ideas and solutions to team meetings.

Demonstrate personal accountability

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in Engineering or a similar technical industry.

A track record in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies and campaigns that generate leads and increase customer engagement.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to analyse data and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.

Experience working with the Sales teams to develop messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of products and services to B2B clients.

Experience managing relationships with external partners, including vendors, agencies, and event organizers.

Familiarity with marketing automation tools

An interest in sustainability and ESG
