Reinstatement Supervisor

**Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities**

The main purpose of your role as Reinstatement Supervisor is to drive productivity, deliver high quality results, be responsible for Health and Safety, all reinstatement works are compliant and inspected before they are recorded as completed.

You will also take pride in the way Zzoomm undertakes the construction of its network and do everything possible to establish and maintain a good reputation with local communities and other stakeholders.

**You will be required to work Nation-Wide and have flexibility to stay away from home should you be needed to.**

**Your key responsibilities are**:

- Survey defected work and report back to Reinstatement Manager
- Pre-site for permitting on remedial work.
- Organise resources to ensure efficient and effective civils reinstatement.
- Resolve issues as they rise or escalate to the Reinstatement Manager so that impact on build completion is minimised.
- To ensure that the Systems associated with Reinstatement Works Order Management are properly utilised and information flows and reporting are fully supported.
- Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition and report any defects to the Reinstatement Manager.
- Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use.
- Ensure all operations are carried out to the highest safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
- Attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required.
- Deputise for the Reinstatement Manger when required.
- Carry out work on defects.

You will report into the Reinstatement Manger

You may also be required to undertake other related duties not listed in this Job Description from time to time, these may be ad hoc, but always supporting the needs of the business

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience, & Attitude required to do this role**
- Experience in Reinstatement and experienced in laying tarmac white top work is always an advantage (reinstating kerbs, slabs, modular sets, and block paving)
- In-depth understanding of civils reinstatement practices
- Familiarity with FTTP Network construction
- People Management skills
- Knowledge of the HAUC Spec, HSEQ, NSWRA etc. Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS), SEATs, confined space qualifications and valid CSCS cards would be an advantage.
- Good IT skills
- Rake and Roll knowledge
- Micro trench knowledge
- Hand lay knowledge

**What qualifications would you have to do this role**

Essential Qualifications
- NRSWA Supervisor qualification is preferable.
- EUSR/CSCS preferred.
- Manual handling
- First Aid at Work.
- Abrasive Wheels.
- Full UK Driving License with no more then 3 points and towing preferred.

**Desirable skill, knowledge, experience - not strictly necessary, but would be nice**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Traffic Management and Street works (Essential)
- Great communication skills are essential along with being enthusiastic.
- Knowledge of Street Manager (Desirable)
