Reading, United Kingdom Porsche Cars GB Ltd Full time

**About Us**:
We are Porsche. We are home to what is, in the extraordinary scale of the automotive world, a small family of passionate enthusiasts - established in 1948 and run in Stuttgart to this day by the same family that bears the company name.

In the UK, we are trusted to represent and care for some of the most exciting, fastest, most advanced and beautiful cars ever created. We work with incredible and often inspiring customers who rightly expect our performance and ambition to match that of our cars.

Being relatively small means we are agile - an environment in which creativity thrives. It also means every one of us makes a difference. When it comes to creating our cars, we sweat the small stuff and we truly care about every part of our business - whether on the road, competing on the track or in styling and dynamics. We are aiming to establish the benchmark in an industry in which the bar is set very high.

**Job Purpose**:
With the above in mind, we're pleased to offer an opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Planner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. We are searching for an individual who can easily adjust and excel in a lively and ever-changing work atmosphere. You should enjoy taking on new challenges and be able to quickly adjust to changing priorities. Your ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions will be essential in this role. In return, you'll have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation and continuous learning. As a Vehicle Planner, you will have a key role in overseeing the vehicle ordering process for 16 Porsche Centres throughout the UK. Your expertise and support will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and efficient vehicle ordering, production, and supply-chain process for our esteemed Porsche Centre Network.

**Core Specific Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance and guidance to the Porsche Centre Network for any concerns related to vehicle ordering, production, and supply-chain matters.
- Implement any necessary specification changes communicated by Porsche AG (PAG) regarding customer orders.
- Help us plan and manage the on-time delivery of vehicles to our Porsche Centre Network. You'll work closely with our Transport Planning & Contracts Executive as well as the Vehicle Planning Manager to ensure third-party transport and logistics providers meet our high standards.
- You will be responsible for effectively communicating any urgent or planned changes to production with Porsche Centres to ensure they stay informed.
- Ensure that all orders from Porsche Centres are placed on time and correctly by monitoring ordering deadline performance.
- Working together with the PAG Production Scheduling teams, your responsibility will be to ensure that vehicle production quotas are effectively managed within the PCGB network. This includes managing quota swaps within the network and taking action to rectify any quota cancellations or changes made by PAG.
- Act as a friendly and knowledgeable expert on the Porsche Exclusive Programme (CXX). Offer advice and information to the network about the extensive range of personalization options. Provide special support to the "Exclusive Flagship Dealers" in accurately configuring and submitting Exclusive vehicle orders to the PAG Exclusive Department.
- You will be responsible for making sure that Porsche Cars Great Britain acts in compliance when distributing 'Certificate of Conformity' (CoC) documents with new car purchases.
- Responsibility for preparing the necessary Certificate of Entry documents for Jersey deliveries, ensuring that all required documentation is received promptly.
- Organizing the logistics for vehicles going to Jersey and Isle of Man, including any customs procedures and paperwork that may be required.
- Monitoring the performance of the PVRM system (DVLA vehicle registration process) and making any necessary system updates.
- Providing training to Porsche Centres on PVMS and other Vehicle Planning procedures as needed.

**Requirements**:

- To understand and assist in the delivery of business strategy and objectives.
- Deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers, business partners and external suppliers, in line with the company values.
- Take ownership for personal development needs in anticipation of business requirements.
- Contribute fully within the team, ensuring that the right environment is maintained.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Occasional domestic travel, which may include overnight stays, could be needed for this role.

The above list of Core Specific Responsibilities is not exhaustive. The job holder is expected to carry out additional duties as reasonably assigned from time to time in line with their capabilities.
