CFO - Burnley - Salary circa £80,000-£85,000 - Part time hours - hybrid working
Sewell Wallis are excited to be exclusively partnered with a multi academy trust who are looking to recruit an ambitious and forward-thinking CFO.
This is a pivotal role which will form part of the senior leadership team where you will become embedded in the future growth of the business, leading the direction of the operational and strategic development of the Trust. This Trust are embarking on an excitinggrowth journey, therefore would really suit someone who is looking for a highly strategic position where you will play a crucial role in developing the future vision of the organisation.
This is a permanent, part time role working 2-3 days per week with flexibility on days worked and offer hybrid working.
Key requirements:

- Advise the CEO, board and other trust leaders on all matters relating to financial strategy and operations
- Develop, implement, and monitor the trust's business plan, using effective financial and budget modelling and benchmarking to support strong decision making
- Managing and developing the finance team
- Ensuring the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
- Providing strategic financial advice to the executive board
- Implementing all Trust policies
- Building relationships with Functional Leads
- Working with the leadership team on new projects
**Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Successful track record in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the Education, or charity sector
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
